How It Works

Invisalign clear aligners come in a series of trays the patient wears and switches out to the next in the tray about every two weeks. The aligners gently reposition the teeth over time into their correct position.

The patient must wear Invisalign up to 22 hours a day for the product to be effective. The clear aligners are taken out when you eat and brush your teeth.

Pros and Cons

Invisalign has advantages in that it is hardly noticeable so you can take pictures, meet people, and feel good about getting orthodontic treatment. It can fix most of the problems associated with orthodontics, although there are limitations. There are fewer office visits too.
